St John Eudes (1601–1680), honoured within the Octave of the Assumption, lived wholly for the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Tested in plague, preaching missions with humility and Marian trust, he founded the Eudists and Sisters of Our Lady of Charity, confronting sin with mercy and forming holy priests. As apostle of the Sacred Hearts, he showed that devotion to them keeps our lamps burning, leading us, like Mary assumed, to share Christ’s eternal wedding feast. https://selsey.org/2025/08/15/nuntiatoria-lxvii-veritas-lucet/
