There's something you keep rising for. Something too big to fit inside a single day — a child, a life you're building with someone, work you believe you were put here to do, a healing you promised yourself. A thing that size can't be finished. It can only be kept faith with.

And real devotion has strange arithmetic: something that big is paid for in ordinary days. Nobody hands out medals for Tuesday.

Warrior One knows this. The back foot plants deep — the stance of someone who has decided to stay — and the arms rise before anything has answered. Some mornings the sun rises right into your hands. Some evenings the light leaves without explaining itself.

You remain.

Because the big things do answer. And when they do, they find you exactly where you said you'd be.
