The spinoff to Today's Lucky Winner. Mere months after the world learns about the supernatural, and her best friend Dawn dies- death's daughter Rita moves to the Oregon coast with her wife. Murphy Bay, long a haven to supernatural beings, is in peril. Between the earthquakes, disappearances, murders, and bigotry from the outside world- Murphy Bay needs help. After promising Dawn she'd use her powers to help people, Rita works to solve the mysteries of Murphy Bay, while navigating a world without her best friend.
