At the end of December 2022 the world mourned the tremendous loss of icons.  Pele - regarded as one of the greatest soccer players of all time, Barbara Walters - the pioneering TV journalist whose interviewing skills made her one of the most prominent figures in broadcasting, and Anita Pointer - a founding member of the vocal group the Pointer Sisters, and the power house behind their legendary career. In this first week of 2023, the country prayed together for Damar Hamlin, football safety for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League.
