Good morning, weather watchers! This is your Dallas/Fort Worth weather forecast for Washington's Birthday.
Bundle up, folks, because we've got an Extreme Cold Watch in effect! Overnight temperatures are dipping down to a chilly 29 degrees with a light east wind around 5 miles per hour.
But don't worry, sunshine is on the way! Washington's Birthday will bring us a pleasant sunny day with temperatures climbing to near 56 degrees. Expect a gentle south southeast wind blowing 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Looking ahead, Monday night might bring a slight chance of drizzle after 3 am, with clouds rolling in and temperatures settling around 45 degrees. Tuesday morning kicks off with a higher probability of showers before 9 am. Temperatures will hover around 54 degrees with winds shifting from southeast to north northeast, potentially gusting up to 20 miles per hour.
The temperature rollercoaster continues Tuesday night with a dramatic drop to around 20 degrees and a brisk north wind up to 15 miles per hour.
Wednesday stays chilly with partly sunny skies and a high of just 32 degrees. By Thursday, we'll see sunny conditions with a high near 34 degrees.
The weekend looks more promising with temperatures climbing to a delightful 50 degrees on Saturday and reaching a warm 63 degrees on Sunday.
