Good morning, weather watchers! This is your friendly neighborhood meteorologist coming to you with today's forecast for Dallas, Texas.

Today's looking like a wet and wild ride! We've got showers and possibly thunderstorms brewing before 3 pm, so grab those umbrellas and rain jackets. Temperatures will hover around 56 degrees Fahrenheit with northeast winds gusting up to 25 miles per hour. Expect between a tenth and quarter inch of rainfall, with potential for higher amounts during thunderstorms.

Tonight, we're keeping a 50 percent chance of showers, mainly before midnight. Temperatures will cool down to around 43 degrees Fahrenheit with north northwest winds around 10 miles per hour.

Sunday brings a cloudy start that gradually clears to mostly sunny skies. We'll see a high near 56 degrees Fahrenheit with northwest winds around 10 miles per hour.

Looking ahead, we've got a beautiful warming trend. Monday jumps up to 71 degrees Fahrenheit, Tuesday sizzles at 77 degrees Fahrenheit, and Wednesday hits a toasty 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Sunshine will be our friend, with calm to breezy conditions throughout the week.
