Good morning, Houston! This is your Weather Whisper bringing you the latest atmospheric adventures for the next seven days.

Buckle up for a wet and wild weekend ahead! Tonight, we're looking at a 40 percent chance of showers with some patchy fog rolling in. Temperatures will hang steady around 59 degrees, with a gentle southeast breeze at around 5 miles per hour.

Sunday is bringing the drama with an 80 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms. Expect temperatures climbing to near 68 degrees, with winds shifting from southeast to south throughout the day. Pack your umbrella and maybe a raincoat because we're talking about a half to three-quarters of an inch of rainfall.

Sunday night continues the wet theme with likely showers and potential thunderstorms before midnight. Temperatures will drop to around 53 degrees, and that wind will do a little dance - starting southwest and switching to north after midnight.

Monday keeps things cool and cloudy with a high near 60 degrees and some morning fog making a brief appearance. As we roll into Tuesday, expect cloudy skies and temperatures climbing to a mild 64 degrees.

Midweek gets interesting with Wednesday bringing a 60 percent chance of showers, especially after noon, and temperatures reaching a warm 71 degrees. Thursday follows up with a 70 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms, keeping temperatures near 70 degrees.

Friday brings more shower action with a 60 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms, but we'll see some sunshine peeking through with temperatures around 69 degrees.

Just when you thought the wet week was done, Saturday swoops in with mostly sunny skies and a pleasant high near 70 degrees.
