Good morning, Houston! I'm your friendly neighborhood meteorologist with the scoop on our week ahead.
Get ready for a cloudy and slightly damp adventure here in Texas. Tonight, we're looking at a chilly 53 degrees with a 30 percent chance of light showers and some patchy fog rolling through. Those north winds will be lazily drifting at around 5 miles per hour.
Monday keeps things cool and cloudy, with temperatures climbing to a modest 60 degrees. Expect some morning fog to burn off, and those north winds will be dancing between 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Tuesday brings another 20 percent chance of showers, with temperatures warming up to a pleasant 62 degrees. Wednesday is where things get interesting - we've got a 50 percent chance of showers and potential thunderstorms after noon, with temperatures reaching near 70 degrees.
Thursday is our wettest day, folks! Expect a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with temperatures climbing to a balmy 73 degrees.
But don't worry, the weekend looks spectacular. Friday will clear up, and Saturday and Sunday promise beautiful sunny skies with temperatures in the high 60s to low 70s.
