Good morning Houston! This is your weather update for today.
Get ready for a cloudy start to the day with temperatures dipping down to a cool 52 degrees. We've got a gentle northeast wind cruising around 5 miles per hour overnight.
Tuesday brings patchy fog before 9 in the morning, but things will clear up with cloudy skies and a high near 60 degrees. That east wind will be keeping things nice and calm.
Things get a bit more interesting Tuesday night, with a slight 20 percent chance of showers after 3 in the morning. Temperatures will hover around 56 degrees with another light east wind.
Wednesday looks like a wet one, with a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before noon. Expect cloudy conditions and temperatures climbing to near 69 degrees. The southeast wind will pick up a bit, ranging 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Thursday is going to be a rainy affair with a whopping 90 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms. Temperatures will climb to a mild 73 degrees.
The weekend looks much more promising with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. Saturday and Sunday are looking perfect for outdoor activities.
