Good morning, Houston! I'm your weather buddy coming to live with today's forecast breakdown.
Let's dive right into what Mother Nature has planned for us. Tonight, we're looking at a cozy evening with some patchy fog rolling through. Temperatures will drop to a mild 67 degrees with a gentle south wind around 5 miles per hour. Perfect for a light jacket and maybe some hot tea.
Moving into Thursday, expect a mix of sun and fog. We'll see patchy fog between 10 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon, but don't worry - it'll clear up. Temperatures will climb to a pleasant 81 degrees with a south wind between 5 and 10 miles per hour. Think shorts and sunglasses weather!
Thursday night brings more of those sneaky fog patches after 1 in the morning, with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures dipping to around 66 degrees.
As we roll into Friday, we're looking at more fog before noon, but the day will gradually become mostly sunny with temperatures hitting near 81 degrees. The weekend is shaping up to be quite nice with mostly cloudy to partly sunny conditions and temperatures hovering around 80 to 82 degrees.
Now, heads up for early next week - we've got a 30 percent chance of showers after noon on Monday, increasing to a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms by Tuesday. Temperatures will start to cool down, dropping from the low 80s to the low 70s.
