Good morning, Houston! This is your Weather Whisper bringing you the latest atmospheric adventure for the next seven days.
Let's kick things off with tonight, where we're looking at a cozy evening with patchy fog and mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will slide down to a mild 67 degrees Fahrenheit, with a gentle south wind keeping things interesting at around 5 miles per hour.
Moving into Friday, expect some morning fog that'll clear out, giving way to a partly sunny day. We'll warm up nicely to a comfortable 81 degrees Fahrenheit, with south winds dancing between 5 to 10 miles per hour.
The weekend's looking like a mixed bag of meteorological mischief. Saturday brings areas of fog before 10 am, then gradually clearing with temperatures hitting near 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Those south winds will get a bit feisty, potentially gusting up to 20 miles per hour.
As we sail into next week, things get a bit more dramatic. Monday brings a 30 percent chance of showers after noon, with temperatures cooling down to a mild 73 degrees Fahrenheit. Tuesday turns up the precipitation drama with a 70 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms.
By Wednesday, we're looking at more shower action with a 60 percent chance of precipitation and temperatures hovering around 72 degrees Fahrenheit. The week wraps up with a slight cooldown and a 30 percent chance of showers on Thursday.
