Hey Houston! Let's break down what Mother Nature has in store for us this week.

Tonight, we're looking at a mostly cloudy evening with temperatures dipping down to a chilly 43 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect some gusty north winds blowing around 10 to 15 miles per hour, with occasional gusts up to 20 miles per hour. Better grab that jacket!

Moving into Thursday, we'll see a partly sunny day with temperatures climbing to near 52 degrees Fahrenheit. Those north winds will continue to keep things crisp, blowing around 10 to 15 miles per hour with gusts up to 25 miles per hour.

Thursday night brings partly cloudy skies and a low around 44 degrees Fahrenheit with a gentle northeast wind.

Friday gets interesting with a 40 percent chance of showers, especially after noon. We'll see mostly cloudy conditions and temperatures warming up to near 65 degrees Fahrenheit.

The weekend looks like a wet one! Saturday has a 70 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms, with temperatures climbing to a warm 77 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sunday provides some relief with sunny skies and a high near 54 degrees Fahrenheit, perfect for getting outdoors.

By Monday, which is Washington's Birthday, expect another sunny day with temperatures reaching near 58 degrees Fahrenheit.

Tuesday brings a 40 percent chance of showers and temperatures around 67 degrees Fahrenheit.
