Good morning, Houston! This is your weather forecast for today, coming in hot... or should I say, cold?

We're looking at a chilly day with a Cold Weather Advisory in effect. Today's high will barely crawl up to 40 degrees Fahrenheit, with a northeast wind blowing between 5 to 10 miles per hour and gusts reaching up to 20 miles per hour. So, bundle up, folks!

Tonight, we've got a slight chance of showers between 3 and 5 in the morning. Temperatures will drop to around 36 degrees Fahrenheit, with that same persistent northeast wind keeping things brisk.

Saturday is going to be a wet one. Expect showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 3 in the afternoon. The high will nudge up to 44 degrees Fahrenheit. We're looking at a 60 percent chance of precipitation, with less than a tenth of an inch of rain - unless a thunderstorm decides to crash the party.

Saturday night continues the rainy trend with showers and potential thunderstorms. The low will hover around 42 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sunday brings more shower chances with a high near 55 degrees Fahrenheit. By Monday, we'll see some sunshine with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 69 degrees Fahrenheit.

The early part of next week looks beautiful - Tuesday will be sunny with a high near 74 degrees Fahrenheit, and Wednesday follows suit with mostly sunny skies and a high around 76 degrees Fahrenheit.
