Good morning, Houston! This is your weather wake-up call, coming to you with all the atmospheric drama for the next few days.
Let's dive right into our chilly weekend forecast. Tonight, we're looking at a cool and cloudy evening with temperatures dropping to around 38 degrees. Expect a gentle north wind at around 5 miles per hour, so grab that light jacket.
Saturday is going to be a wet one, folks! We're talking showers and possibly some thunderstorm action. Patchy fog will make an appearance before 3 PM and then again after 5 PM. The high temperature will barely climb to 44 degrees, with a light northeast wind. Pack your umbrella because there's an 80 percent chance of precipitation, with about a quarter to half an inch of rainfall expected.
Saturday night continues the rainy theme. More showers and potential thunderstorms are on the menu, with patchy fog sneaking in between 3 and 4 AM. Temperatures will hover around 42 degrees with that persistent northeast wind.
Sunday brings more moisture with likely showers and a potential thunderstorm. Expect some morning fog between 7 and 10 AM. The day will be mostly cloudy with temperatures reaching a mild 53 degrees and a north wind between 5 and 10 miles per hour.
The good news? Things start looking up early next week. Monday brings partly sunny skies and a pleasant high near 67 degrees. Tuesday turns even warmer with mostly sunny conditions and temperatures climbing to a delightful 73 degrees.
The latter part of the week looks absolutely gorgeous, with mostly sunny days and temperatures in the low to mid 70s. Wednesday and Thursday will be perfect for outdoor activities, with clear skies and comfortable temperatures.
