Good morning, Kansas City! This is your weather update for the weekend, coming to you from the National Weather Service.

Tonight, we're looking at a partly cloudy sky with temperatures dipping down to a chilly 32 degrees. Expect a gentle south southeast wind around 9 miles per hour to keep things interesting.

Saturday brings increasing clouds and a high near 48 degrees. The wind will pick up, blowing from the south at 9 to 18 miles per hour, with gusts up to 26 miles per hour. So maybe hold onto your hat!

Saturday night stays mostly cloudy, with temperatures settling around 37 degrees. The wind continues its southerly dance at 8 to 13 miles per hour.

Sunday looks promising with partly sunny skies and a warmer high near 58 degrees. A light southwest wind will be your companion at 5 to 8 miles per hour.

As we roll into next week, Monday brings mostly sunny conditions and a pleasant high near 57 degrees. Monday night cools down to around 29 degrees with partly cloudy skies.

Tuesday turns mostly cloudy with a high near 41 degrees, and Wednesday offers a slight chance of rain before noon, with temperatures reaching 50 degrees.

Looking ahead, Thursday brings us a sunny day with a high near 40 degrees, and Friday continues the sunny trend with temperatures climbing to 46 degrees.
