Good morning, weather watchers! I'm your friendly neighborhood meteorologist with the latest forecast for Kansas City.
Tonight, we're looking at a crisp and clear evening with temperatures dropping to around 37 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect a gentle west wind cruising at around 9 miles per hour - perfect for a cozy night in.
Thursday is shaping up to be a stunner! Sunny skies will grace us with a delightful high near 61 degrees Fahrenheit. The northwest wind will be dancing between 9 to 15 miles per hour, with some playful gusts up to 28 miles per hour. Grab a light jacket, but sunshine is guaranteed!
As we roll into Thursday night, we'll keep that clear sky party going. Temperatures will settle around 41 degrees Fahrenheit, with a south southwest wind ranging from 6 to 14 miles per hour and occasional gusts up to 24 miles per hour.
Friday continues the sunny streak with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Wind will be a bit more adventurous, shifting from southwest to northwest and potentially gusting up to 29 miles per hour.
The weekend looks mild, with Saturday hitting a high near 47 degrees Fahrenheit and Sunday warming up to around 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Sunday night might bring a 40 percent chance of rain, so keep an umbrella handy.
Early next week, we're looking at increasing rain chances. Tuesday has a 70 percent chance of precipitation with temperatures reaching 64 degrees Fahrenheit.
