Good morning, Kansas City! This is your weather whisperer bringing you the latest atmospheric intel for the week ahead.

Let's kick things off with tonight - we're looking at a crystal clear sky with temperatures dropping to a crisp 39 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be leisurely spinning from the southwest at around 8 miles per hour, perfect for a cozy evening.

Monday is bringing the heat - literally! Expect a gorgeous sunny day with temperatures climbing to near 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Those southwest winds will be a bit more playful, ranging from 8 to 17 miles per hour with gusts up to 31 miles per hour. Time to break out those sunglasses and light jackets!

Tuesday keeps the sunny trend going with a high near 67 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will do a little dance, starting from the west northwest and then shifting to east northeast by afternoon.

Midweek looks fantastic with partly sunny conditions and temperatures hovering around 73 degrees Fahrenheit. But hold onto your hats, because Friday is when things get interesting! We're looking at a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 pm, with temperatures still hitting a warm 76 degrees Fahrenheit.

The weekend will cool down significantly, with Saturday's high barely reaching 54 degrees Fahrenheit and Sunday sitting at a mild 56 degrees Fahrenheit.

Oh, and heads up - there's currently a Red Flag Warning in effect, so keep an eye on those local conditions.
