Good morning, Miami! This is your weather update for the weekend and beyond.

Let's dive right into what Mother Nature has in store for us. Tonight, we're looking at a mostly cloudy evening with a slight 20 percent chance of showers. Temperatures will drop to a cool 68 degrees Farenheit, with east winds blowing around 14 miles per hour and gusting up to 18 miles per hour.

Saturday brings a brief morning shower possibility before the sun decides to make a fashionable appearance. Expect partly sunny skies with temperatures climbing to a comfortable 73 degrees Farenheit. Those east winds will continue to dance at 11 to 14 miles per hour.

Saturday night keeps things interesting with mostly cloudy conditions and temperatures settling around 67 degrees Farenheit. The winds will start to play musical chairs, shifting from east to north after midnight.

Sunday looks like a stunner with mostly sunny skies and temperatures reaching near 76 degrees Farenheit. Our winds will do a little dance, starting north and then pirouetting to the east in the afternoon.

Now, here's where things get spicy. Monday brings a 70 percent chance of showers and potential thunderstorms after 1 pm. Some of these storms might deliver some serious rainfall, so keep those umbrellas handy. Temperatures will hover around 75 degrees Farenheit with southeast winds.

The rest of the week looks relatively calm, with sunny and partly sunny days, temperatures ranging from 75 to 77 degrees Farenheit, and just a small chance of evening showers on Thursday.
