Good morning, Miami! This is your weather update for today, brought to you with a sunny smile from the National Weather Service.

Let's dive right into what Mother Nature has in store for us. Today, we're looking at a mostly sunny day with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 74 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect a gentle east wind blowing at 6 to 10 miles per hour - perfect for a light jacket or maybe just a breezy shirt.

Tonight, things will cool down to around 70 degrees Fahrenheit with a southeast wind circling at around 10 miles per hour. Pack a light sweater if you're heading out.

Now, buckle up for Monday - we've got some excitement brewing! Showers are likely, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms after 1 pm. Some of these storms might bring heavy rainfall, so keep those umbrellas handy. Temperatures will hover near 76 degrees Fahrenheit with southeast winds gusting up to 18 miles per hour. We're looking at a 70 percent chance of precipitation, so expect between three-quarters to one inch of rainfall.

Monday night continues the wet trend with more showers and potential thunderstorms. Temperatures will dip to around 67 degrees Fahrenheit with a south wind of about 10 miles per hour.

Tuesday brings a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Expect partly sunny skies and a high near 75 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind will start southeast and shift to northwest in the afternoon.

The rest of the week looks progressively sunnier and warmer, with temperatures climbing to 75 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit mid-week.
