Hold onto your hot cocoa, folks, because we're diving into a winter wonderland that's about to make Jack Frost proud! Tonight, we're looking at a frosty overnight with a chance of light snow flurries before 5 am. Temperatures will dip down to a brisk 18 degrees, with west northwest winds swirling around at about 10 miles per hour.
New Year's Day isn't going to be much warmer, with a high of just 21 degrees and those persistent west northwest winds continuing their chilly dance.
As we roll into the rest of the week, expect a parade of cold days with temperatures struggling to break out of the teens. Thursday will tease us with a partly sunny sky and a high near 19 degrees. Friday brings pure sunshine but keeps temperatures hovering around a mere 15 degrees.
Weekend warriors, bundle up! Saturday will be mostly sunny but with a high of just 13 degrees. Sunday offers a slight 20 percent chance of snow, with temperatures climbing to a whopping 15 degrees.
Looking ahead to next week, we're seeing a pattern of partly sunny days with temperatures staying in the mid to upper teens. Think layers, thick socks, and that trusty winter coat!
