Here's the weather report script:
Good morning, Minneapolis! Bundle up because we're diving into a forecast that's colder than a polar bear's toenails!
Today's weather is bringing an extreme cold warning that means business. Overnight temperatures are plummeting to a bone-chilling negative 20 degrees Farenheit, with wind chill values dropping to a teeth-chattering negative 35 degrees.
Tuesday will start with increasing clouds and a high near 9 degrees Farenheit. Expect wind chill values continuing to make you feel like you're living in an ice cube, with south southwest winds around 5 to 15 miles per hour.
Tuesday night brings a potential snow surprise, with a 30 percent chance of flurries before 1 AM. Temperatures will rise to around 14 degrees by early morning, with wind chill values hovering around negative 11 degrees.
Looking ahead, Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a high near 27 degrees, and Thursday brings some relief with mostly sunny skies and a high near 11 degrees.
The weekend looks slightly more bearable, with Saturday reaching a high near 27 degrees and Sunday peeking at 21 degrees with mostly sunny conditions.
Pro tip for all you brave Minnesotans: layer up, protect those extremities, and maybe consider a hot beverage or five!
