Good morning, Minneapolis! Let's dive into our chilly forecast that'll have you reaching for those extra layers.
Tonight, we're looking at partly cloudy skies with temperatures dipping down to a bone-chilling negative 1 degrees Fahrenheit. Bundle up, because wind chill values could feel like negative 12 degrees. Expect northwest winds around 10 miles per hour, so keep that winter coat close.
Thursday brings us a sunny day, but don't let that fool you. The high will struggle to reach 10 degrees Fahrenheit, with wind chill values plummeting to negative 15 degrees. Northwest winds will be blowing between 5 to 10 miles per hour, so think layers, layers, layers!
Friday gets a bit more interesting with a chance of flurries and a slight possibility of snow. We'll see mostly cloudy conditions with temperatures climbing to a more pleasant 24 degrees Fahrenheit. South winds will be gentle, ranging 5 to 10 miles per hour.
The weekend looks crisp and bright. Saturday will be partly sunny with a high near 27 degrees Fahrenheit, and winds gusting up to 25 miles per hour. Sunday continues the trend with sunny skies and a high around 28 degrees Fahrenheit.
As we roll into next week, expect temperatures to gradually warm up, with Monday potentially hitting 35 degrees Fahrenheit.
