Good morning, Minneapolis! Let's dive into our chilly winter forecast that's bringing some serious winter vibes to Minnesota.
Overnight, we're looking at a mostly cloudy sky with temperatures dropping to a brisk 7 degrees. Winds will be calm, then gently shifting to the east at around 5 miles per hour.
Wednesday brings a higher chance of snow, especially after 3 pm. Expect mostly cloudy conditions with temperatures hovering near 26 degrees Fahrenheit. Southeastern winds will blow between 5 to 10 miles per hour, and we might see a light dusting of less than one inch of snow.
Wednesday night continues the snowy trend, with precipitation likely before midnight. Temperatures will stay steady around 25 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will dance from southeast to west, ranging 5 to 15 miles per hour.
Thursday is going to be a wild ride temperature-wise! We'll start mostly sunny but watch those temperatures plummet to around 15 degrees by 9 am. Westerly winds will howl at 15 miles per hour, with gusts potentially reaching 40 miles per hour.
The weekend looks like a winter wonderland with significant snowfall on Saturday. Temperatures will range from a high of 22 degrees to a bone-chilling low of negative 1 degree.
Sunday and Monday will offer some relief with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-teens.
