Good morning, Minneapolis! This is your frosty forecast for a weekend that'll make your eyelashes freeze.
We've got a Cold Weather Advisory and an Extreme Cold Watch in effect, so bundle up like you're preparing for an arctic expedition!
Tonight, we're looking at temperatures diving down to a teeth-chattering 3 degrees Farenheit. There's a tiny 20 percent chance of snow before 5 am, so don't be surprised if you wake up to a light dusting.
Sunday will be partly sunny but don't get too excited - we're talking a high of only 9 degrees. Wind chill values will plummet to negative 14 degrees, so those exposed skin areas will feel like they're being attacked by Jack Frost himself.
Sunday night drops even lower, with temperatures hitting negative 13 degrees. Wind chill could reach a bone-chilling negative 30 degrees.
Washington's Birthday forecast? Sunny but brutally cold. Expect a high of negative 2 degrees with wind chills around negative 32 degrees.
The rest of the week continues the deep freeze pattern - mostly sunny days with temperatures struggling to climb above 5 to 17 degrees, gradually warming up towards the weekend.
