Good morning Minneapolis! This is your weather report for Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

Bundle up, because winter is showing its frosty teeth today! We're looking at some seriously chilly conditions that'll make you want to hibernate. Overnight temperatures are plummeting to negative 11 degrees Fahrenheit, with wind chill values dropping to a bone-chilling negative 25 degrees.

During the day, expect a partly sunny sky with temperatures barely crawling up to 6 degrees Fahrenheit. Northwest winds will be blowing around 5 to 10 miles per hour, making it feel even colder. Pro tip: layer up like you're preparing for an Arctic expedition!

As we move into Wednesday night, we'll see mostly cloudy skies and temperatures easing slightly to negative 5 degrees Fahrenheit. Thursday brings a bit of relief with mostly sunny conditions and a high near 14 degrees Fahrenheit.

The weekend looks more promising with temperatures gradually warming up. By Saturday, we'll see a high near 33 degrees Fahrenheit, and Sunday will feel almost balmy with temperatures reaching 41 degrees Fahrenheit.

There's a small chance of rain on Sunday night and Monday, with temperatures hovering around 36 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit.
