Good morning, Minneapolis! This is your weather wizard bringing you the latest forecast that's more unpredictable than a Minnesota mood swing.

Overnight, we're looking at mostly cloudy skies with temperatures holding steady around 43 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect west southwest winds around 15 miles per hour, with gusts that might just ruffle your hair up to 30 miles per hour.

Friday's going to be a bit of a wild ride. There's a slight chance of snow showers around noon, and temperatures will drop faster than a hockey puck, sliding down to around 32 degrees Fahrenheit by evening. Winds will be cranking up, blowing west northwest at 15 to 20 miles per hour, potentially gusting up to a whopping 45 miles per hour. Pack a windbreaker, folks!

Friday night brings partly cloudy skies and temperatures plummeting to around 15 degrees Fahrenheit. Those blustery winds will continue, coming from the north northwest at 20 to 25 miles per hour.

Saturday looks like a classic winter postcard - sunny with a high near 28 degrees Fahrenheit and light northwest winds.

The weekend warms up nicely. Sunday will be sunny and pleasant, hitting a high of 44 degrees Fahrenheit with gentle south winds.

Monday brings a 30 percent chance of rain and temperatures climbing to near 51 degrees Fahrenheit. Tuesday follows with even higher rain chances and temperatures hovering around 49 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mid-week, we might see some snow on Wednesday, with temperatures around 40 degrees Fahrenheit and north winds.
