Good morning, Minneapolis! Let's dive into our wild weather rollercoaster for the next few days.
Tonight, expect a mostly cloudy sky with temperatures dropping to a mild 49 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be coming in from the southeast at around 10 miles per hour, so keep a light jacket handy.
Friday is looking like a stunner! We'll see partly sunny skies with temperatures climbing to a delightful 74 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be dancing from the south southeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour, with gusts potentially hitting 30 miles per hour. Perfect day to get outside and soak up some vitamin D!
Friday night gets a bit more dramatic. Rain and thunderstorms are likely before 2 in the morning, with continued chances of precipitation. Temperatures will cool down to around 47 degrees Fahrenheit, and we might see between a tenth to a quarter inch of rainfall.
Saturday brings some serious weather drama. We're looking at rain transitioning to potential snow in the afternoon. Temperatures will dramatically drop from 74 to around 35 degrees Fahrenheit by evening. Winds will be breezy, shifting from southeast to northwest and potentially gusting up to 35 miles per hour.
The weekend continues with a chilly Sunday, sunny but cool with highs near 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Monday warms back up to 57 degrees Fahrenheit, giving us a bit of a reprieve.
The latter part of next week looks unsettled, with potential rain and snow mixed in, especially on Wednesday.
