Hey weather watchers! This is your friendly neighborhood meteorologist coming in hot with today's forecast for Minneapolis.

Buckle up for a chilly adventure today! We're looking at mostly cloudy skies with temperatures barely climbing to a brisk 18 degrees Fahrenheit. Those southeast winds will be dancing around at 5 to 10 miles per hour, so grab that extra layer!

Tonight, things warm up ever so slightly, with temperatures inching up to around 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect mostly cloudy conditions with south southeast winds whispering at around 10 miles per hour.

Sunday brings a bit of sunshine relief with partly sunny skies and temperatures reaching near 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Don't get too excited though - there's a small 20 percent chance of snow sneaking in Sunday night, keeping things interesting.

As we roll into Monday, we're looking at continued mostly cloudy conditions with a high near 31 degrees Fahrenheit. That slim chance of snow hangs around until noon, just to keep you on your toes.

The rest of the week looks pretty consistent - mostly cloudy with temperatures gradually creeping up. By Christmas Day, we might even hit a balmy 34 degrees Fahrenheit! Friday's bringing a slight 20 percent chance of rain to spice things up.
