Good morning, Portland weather watchers! I'm your friendly neighborhood meteorologist with the scoop on what Mother Nature has planned for us.
Tonight, we're looking at a chilly overnight with a 50 percent chance of showers before 4 am. Temperatures will dip down to around 43 degrees Fahrenheit, with a gentle south wind around 6 miles per hour. So grab that light jacket if you're heading out!
Saturday is shaping up to be a wet one. Expect showers before 10 am, transitioning to rain after that. We'll see temperatures climbing to a cool 50 degrees Fahrenheit, with south winds gusting up to 18 miles per hour. Pack that umbrella, folks - we're talking 100 percent chance of precipitation!
The weekend continues with more liquid sunshine. Saturday night brings rain likely before 9 pm, then a chance of showers after 10 pm. Sunday follows a similar pattern with showers before 1 pm and rain afterward. Temperatures will hover around a mild 53 degrees Fahrenheit.
Looking ahead, Monday starts to clear up with just a 30 percent chance of morning showers and temperatures reaching near 52 degrees Fahrenheit. Tuesday and Wednesday will treat us to some mostly sunny and partly sunny conditions, giving us a break from the wet weather.
As we roll into Thursday and Friday, expect mostly sunny skies with a slight chance of rain returning by Friday.
