Good morning, Portland! This is your weather report for Sunday, January 19th.

Bundle up, folks, because we've got a chilly weekend ahead with a Cold Weather Advisory in effect. Overnight temperatures are dropping down to around 30 degrees, and we're looking at widespread frost to start our day.

Sunday's forecast is crisp and clear. Expect widespread frost mainly before 11 in the morning, with temperatures climbing to a high near 43 degrees. The wind will be calm, then switching to a gentle northeast breeze around 5 miles per hour in the afternoon.

Martin Luther King Day looks similar - sunny with a high of 43 degrees and an east-northeast wind blowing 6 to 8 miles per hour. Overnight, temperatures will dip to around 29 degrees with mostly cloudy skies.

The early part of the week continues the frosty trend. Tuesday will be sunny with another high near 43 degrees, and Wednesday brings mostly sunny conditions with temperatures reaching 45 degrees.

Things get interesting Thursday night with a chance of rain rolling in, and Friday continues that rainy pattern. By Saturday, we might see snow levels dropping to around 1,700 feet, so mountain lovers might want to keep an eye on those conditions.
