Good morning, Portland! I'm your friendly neighborhood meteorologist here with your chilly winter forecast.

We've got a Cold Weather Advisory in effect, so bundle up, folks! Overnight, expect widespread frost and mostly clear skies with temperatures dipping down to a brisk 31 degrees Fahrenheit. Those north-northeast winds will be blowing around 7 miles per hour, so make sure to grab that extra layer.

Thursday brings increasing clouds and a high near 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Widespread frost will stick around until about 9 in the morning, so give yourself some extra time to defrost the car.

As we roll into Thursday night, we'll see areas of frost after 1 am, with cloudy skies gradually clearing to partly cloudy. Temperatures will hover around 34 degrees Fahrenheit, with virtually no wind.

Friday continues our frosty trend with areas of frost before 11 am, but then we'll see a mostly sunny day with temperatures climbing to 44 degrees Fahrenheit. Those calm winds will pick up slightly from the north.

The weekend looks crisp and clear - sunny days with highs around 46 degrees Fahrenheit and overnight lows dropping to a chilly 29 degrees. By Monday and Tuesday, we're looking at sunny skies and temperatures inching up to 47 degrees Fahrenheit.

Wednesday brings a potential twist with a chance of rain and snow, keeping things interesting!
