Good morning, Portland! This is your weather report for Sunday, coming to you with all the chilly details.

We've got a Cold Weather Advisory in effect, so bundle up, folks! Overnight temperatures are diving down to around 30 degrees with light northeast winds around 5 miles per hour. Expect widespread frost before dawn and after sunrise.

Sunday's looking bright and sunny, but crisp. We'll see a high near 47 degrees with gentle northeast winds between 5 to 7 miles per hour. Those morning frost warnings will stick around until about 9 in the morning, so keep those winter jackets handy.

The week ahead looks like a frosty forecast with mostly clear skies. Temperatures will hover in the high 40s during the day and dip into the low 30s at night. Widespread frost will be our morning companion through midweek.

Things get interesting Thursday into Friday. We're looking at a chance of rain starting Thursday afternoon, transitioning to steady rainfall by Thursday night. Friday and Saturday might even see some snow mixed in with the rain, with temperatures holding steady around 46 to 47 degrees.

For those planning outdoor activities, layers are your best friend this week. Mornings will be especially chilly with that persistent frost, so give yourself extra time to warm up the car and bundle up.
