Good morning, Portland! This is your weather update for Tuesday, bringing a mix of winter whimsy and precipitation possibilities.

Overnight, we're looking at mostly cloudy skies with temperatures dipping down to a chilly 28 degrees. Bundle up, folks!

Tuesday's forecast is a bit of a weather rollercoaster. We've got a slight chance of snow showers before 11 in the morning, then transitioning to a potential rain and snow combo. The snow level will be climbing to 700 feet in the afternoon. Expect partly sunny conditions with temperatures reaching a high near 42 degrees. Winds will be calm, then shifting to a gentle southeast breeze around 5 miles per hour.

Tuesday night gets interesting with likely snow showers, possibly mixed with rain, switching to all snow after 3 in the morning. The snow level drops to 300 feet, and temperatures will hover around 29 degrees. We're looking at a 60 percent chance of precipitation, with potentially less than half an inch of snow accumulation.

Wednesday continues the wintry mix with snow showers before 10 in the morning, followed by rain potentially mixed with snow. The snow level rises to 900 feet, with temperatures reaching a high of 41 degrees. Expect a 90 percent chance of precipitation and less than one inch of snow accumulation.

The rest of the week keeps things interesting with fluctuating snow levels and mixed precipitation. We'll see chances of rain and snow showers through the weekend, with temperatures generally ranging between 27 and 44 degrees.
