Good morning, Portland! This is your weather wizard coming to you with the latest forecast that's more mixed up than a Portland coffee order.
Tonight, we're looking at a rainy rendezvous with a possible snow shower cameo. The snow level will be hovering around 900 feet, with temperatures dipping to a chilly 33 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect a gentle south southeast wind around 5 miles per hour. There's an 80 percent chance of precipitation, but don't worry snow lovers - we're not talking about a winter wonderland accumulation.
Saturday brings a weather mood swing! Expect a chance of rain and snow showers before 3 pm, then transitioning to just rain showers. The snow level will play elevator games, starting at 1200 feet and climbing to 2200 feet by afternoon. We'll start cloudy but gradually clear to mostly sunny, with temperatures reaching a mild 45 degrees Fahrenheit. A light south southwest wind will be your companion at about 6 miles per hour.
The weekend continues with patchy fog making a late-night appearance on Saturday night, and Sunday looking partly sunny with a high near 43 degrees Fahrenheit. Things cool down Sunday night, dropping to a crisp 26 degrees.
Looking ahead, Monday brings mostly sunny skies and a high of 42 degrees. Tuesday keeps it cool and sunny with a high of 39 degrees. Wednesday adds a twist with a slight chance of snow after 10 am.
The latter part of the week gets interesting with potential rain, snow, and even freezing rain making an appearance. Temperatures will hover around 40 degrees, with snow levels dancing between 300 and 1400 feet.
