Good morning, Portland! This is your Weather Whisper coming in hot with the latest forecast for Washington's Birthday and beyond.

Overnight, we're looking at a rainy rendezvous with precipitation. Expect temperatures dipping to around 45 degrees Fahrenheit, with south southwest winds dancing around 8 miles per hour. Rain's likely to join the party after 3 am, bringing between a tenth and quarter inch of liquid love.

Washington's Birthday itself? Pack your umbrella! Rain before noon will transition to scattered showers, with temperatures climbing to a modest 52 degrees Fahrenheit. West southwest winds will be gently blowing at 6 to 9 miles per hour.

Monday night keeps things interesting with a 30 percent chance of showers before 10 pm. Expect mostly cloudy skies and temperatures around 42 degrees Fahrenheit.

Tuesday brings more moisture with rain likely after 4 pm, temperatures reaching near 52 degrees Fahrenheit. Tuesday night turns into a full-on rain event with precipitation amounts between a quarter and half an inch.

Wednesday continues the wet theme with a 100 percent chance of rain and temperatures hitting 52 degrees Fahrenheit. Thursday starts to dry out a bit, with just a chance of morning showers and temperatures climbing to 53 degrees Fahrenheit.

As we roll into the weekend, rain becomes a more frequent visitor. Saturday and Sunday both promise cloudy conditions with temperatures around 57 degrees Fahrenheit and persistent rainfall.
