Good morning, Portland! I'm your friendly neighborhood meteorologist with your weekend weather rundown.
Get ready for a wet and wild few days ahead! Today's looking like a rainy affair, with precipitation starting after 4 in the afternoon. We'll see temperatures climbing to a mild 52 degrees Fahrenheit, with gentle southeast winds around 3 to 5 miles per hour. Pack that raincoat and maybe a waterproof umbrella!
Tonight, the rain continues with temperatures dropping to around 47 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect south winds between 5 to 7 miles per hour, and we're looking at precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch.
Saturday brings more moisture, with rain likely after 10 in the morning. Temperatures will warm up to near 59 degrees Fahrenheit, with south winds picking up to 7 to 11 miles per hour. Saturday night gets even more interesting with heavy rainfall, potential wind gusts up to 20 miles per hour, and temperatures around 53 degrees Fahrenheit.
Sunday looks like a carbon copy of Saturday - persistent rain, temperatures near 59 degrees Fahrenheit, and those gusty winds continuing. By Sunday night, we might even see some thunderstorm action!
Monday continues the wet trend with more rain, and Tuesday will start wet but gradually clear up. By Wednesday, we're looking at mostly sunny skies with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 62 degrees Fahrenheit.
