Good morning, Portland! This is your weather update for a wet and windy weekend ahead.
Tonight, get ready for a rainy evening with temperatures dropping to around 51 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect some serious breezes coming from the south southwest, with winds reaching up to 32 miles per hour. We're looking at a 100 percent chance of precipitation, so grab those rain jackets and umbrellas!
Sunday is going to be another soggy day with temperatures climbing to near 57 degrees Fahrenheit. Those winds will continue to kick up, blowing between 14 to 17 miles per hour with gusts up to 31 miles per hour. Rain is guaranteed, folks - we're expecting between half to three-quarters of an inch of rainfall.
Monday continues the wet trend with rain and temperatures reaching around 56 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will shift and could gust up to 36 miles per hour. Tuesday will start to dry out a bit, with rain likely only in the morning.
The good news? By Wednesday, we'll see some sunshine with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Thursday and Friday look partly sunny with a slight chance of rain.
Looking ahead to the weekend, expect mostly cloudy skies with temperatures hovering in the mid-50s and a chance of scattered showers.
