Good morning, Portland! Let's dive into our wet and wild weekend forecast.

Overnight, we're looking at a shower party that kicks off after 4 am. Temperatures will slide down to around 46 degrees Fahrenheit, with south southwest winds dancing around 10 miles per hour and occasional gusts up to 24 miles per hour. There's an 80 percent chance you'll need that umbrella!

Saturday continues the aquatic theme with widespread showers. Expect a high near 51 degrees Fahrenheit, with winds keeping things interesting at 7 to 11 miles per hour. Precipitation chance? A whopping 90 percent. So, waterproof everything!

Saturday night transitions from showers to rain, dropping temperatures to around 43 degrees Fahrenheit. We're looking at potentially a quarter to half an inch of rainfall.

Sunday brings a full-on rain event with temperatures hovering near 48 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will shift from southeast to southwest, with gusts up to 18 miles per hour. Expect another quarter to half inch of precipitation.

The week ahead looks consistently cloudy with occasional rain chances, temperatures mostly hanging between the low to high 40s. New Years Day is looking particularly soggy with high likelihood of rainfall.
