A few big storylines are already arising this season as the guys discuss the return of Jonathan Toews, the hot start for Kyle Connor, Evegeni Malkin and the looming contract situation for Adrian Kempe.

We then look at some teams off to slow starts as the Buffalo Sabres were shutout in Game 1 and John Gibson gets shelled in his Red Wings debut.
