After having spent 13 years working as a stock broker in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong and after spending two years looking for a premises, Macroom man Tom Creedon made the brave move to open a deli in Cork city centre. Under the current circumstances the company is operating take away coffees and treats through a side hatch that opens onto French Church Street. The deli, called Masseytown in tribute to his late father's birthplace, Tom started off in the food industry working with Victor Murphy of O'Mahony’s in Watergrasshill and from there did a twelve week cookery course in Ballymaloe. Make sure to pop by Tom's store 'Masseytown' on Paul street, open weekdays from 10-6 pm.
