Tom is a father of three, proud grandfather and husband to Stephanie Derzypolski, vice president and chief communications officer at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare.

He was named Leadership Tallahassee's Leader of the Year in 2019 and was one of the recipients of the Tallahassee Democrat's 2018 Person of the Year (along with Stephanie and others) for his tireless volunteer work in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael in Blountstown and surrounding areas. The Navy veteran believes in family, hard work and that living out his faith is the best way to make a lasting impact.
