Tom Johnston of the Doobie Brothers

Listen Later

The Doobie Brothers released the new album Walk This Road back in June, and Matt Pelsor enjoyed it, so this chance to talk with Tom Johnston was very special indeed. They talked about the title track featuring Mavis Staples, plus a song he wrote called “Here To Stay” and more.

The Doobies play Ruoff Music Center on Saturday, September 13th.

Big thanks to Mad Hatter Shows and Event Center, bringing live comedy, movie screenings, and celebrity speaking engagements to Greenwood, Indiana.
