Tom McQuillan is an amateur cyclist with a goal - to ride and race 12 disciplines of cycling within 12 months. 

From road racing to marathon mountain biking to track racing to BMX, he’ll be trying to learn, ride and race a different form of cycling every month throughout 2026. 

Along the way he’ll chat to experts in each cycling discipline about what they love most about their sport, as well as letting you know the crucial details you’ll need to try it yourself.
