A valuable lesson I have learned over the past 25 years as a financial planner is that there is a enormous difference between those who plan or fail to plan because they think they will live forever and those who know that our days are numbered. Over the last year, I have unfortunately been involved in the settling of many estates. Those that had up to date financial plans in place made the passing a little more tolerable. Those that did not have a financial plan or did, but it was not current, made the loss of life that much worse. My friends, our days are numbered. It is imperative that those things we can control, be managed properly. I can without hesitation tell you that mortality is 100%. We are not staying here and when we leave, there are only two destinations. Please stop procrastinating when it comes to your stewardship and relationships.

Fix your broken relationships. Apologize to who you need to apologize to. Accept apologies from others and move on.
Get you financial affairs in order now, not next week or next year.
