When TOMS Shoes and Element joined forces to create a better tomorrow,the concept of a One for One skateboard was born. For every TOMS + Element skateboard purchased,Element gives a skateboard to a child outside of Durban,South Africa to provide refuge from the dangerous areas in which they live. As part of this collaboration,TOMS + Element created a limited edition collection of TOMS Shoes. Through the sales of shoes and skateboards,together TOMS + Element will give shoes and skateboards to children at the Indigo Skate Camp in the Isithumba village in South Africa.

It's a rare thing these days, in the age of the internet and all, when you can honestly say an amateur skater paid his dues to earn what he's got, but for Nick Garcia, there's nothing truer than that. Skating his ass off, and getting noticed the old fashioned way. "The harder you work the luckier you get" and with that said, we are proud to introduce Element's newest pro, Nick Garcia.

While following Amateurus for Future Nature, we ended up in the jewel of the equator, Costa Rica. We trailed the pod from the sunken seas to the highest mountain tops, surrounded by a volcanic skyline.
