I  Prophecy is greater than tongues (vv.1-5)

II  Tongues are unintelligible to most (vv.6-12)

III Tongues must be interpreted in church (vv.13-19)

IV  Uninterpreted tongues can harm the cause of Christ (vv.20-25)
