Tony Chen is Managing Director of Kinyungu Ventures, an impact investing firm developing generational relationships with East African early-stage ventures and small businesses. He is also chairman of Govzilla, a software company he co-founded and led as CEO for eight years. Tony is on the investment committee for Triphammer Ventures. His first company, Hospital Impact, was acquired in 2009. Prior to his entrepreneurial and investing days, Tony worked 10 years in various corporate, innovation, and business development roles. Tony earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management.
