The Federal Conservative MP has resigned from all his committee positions and as justice critic, after admitting he sent sexually explicit video and images to a person whom he thought was a consenting woman. He claims the recipient then tried to extort him. Clement admits he ‘went down the wrong path’ and ‘exercised poor judgement’.

Clement is married with three children.
