Tony Elliott, Virginias football coach, has been named ACC Coach of the Year, a first for a UVA coach since 2011. Elliott led the Cavaliers to their second ten-win season and a spot in the ACC Championship game, their second ever. Hes also a semifinalist for national coaching awards. Virginia ended a four-game losing streak against Virginia Tech, securing their ACC Championship spot and tying the program record with seven conference wins. Theyll face Duke in the championship game this Saturday at 8 PM on ABC, Virginia Sports Radio Network, and ESPN Radio.
