New South Wales police are trialling new technology in a bid to curb the number of accidents caused by mobile phone use.
New Zealand Road and Traffic Education Centre owner Tony Williams says too many Kiwis are flouting the law, and the technology could be useful here.
"We're going to do something, with all the crashes happening, we're going to have to do something about it."
